What is a credit union?
A credit union is a not-for-profit financial institution that returns any profits back to the member in the form of dividends on share accounts. The credit union objective is to make more available to people credit for provident purposes and to strive to project the "People helping People" concept in a caring, professional manner.
Direct Deposit
Can I have direct deposit for my paycheck?
Golden West Cities is a member of the Automated Clearing House, therefore, we can receive Direct Deposit as well as Electronic Funds Transfers from your account, such as gym dues, insurance premiums, mortgage payments, etc. Simplely give them your account number and our routing number #322275678.
Loan Criteria
What criteria do you base your loan decisions?
We take into consideration your length of current employment, past credit history, total indebtedness, income, and ability to repay.
Loan Eligibility
How long do I have to be a member before I can apply for a loan?
As soon as you have the minimum balance of $50 in your share account, you are eligible for any and all credit union services, including loans.
Membership
Who is eligible for membership in Golden West Cities Federal Credit Union?
Our Credit Union serves the employees of the cities of Garden Grove, Tustin, Westminster, Stanton, and La Palma. We also have approximately 120 companies in our field of membership. If you are a family member of an existing GWCFCU member, you are eligible for membership.
